You can see a couple of heavy downpours moving towards the south coast of rhode island. All this is lifting up to the north and east. And theres more behind it out in western mass, too. So we are going to leave in showers through the Morning Hours although they will be very hit or miss. And notice the farther up north you go in Northern New England, were actually seeing a couple of snow showers. And there is more rain behind this. You see this line of showers over carolina. Youve been seeing them all morning long from new bedford to falmouth to hyannis. All the way up to provincetown. All of this is lifting from south and west to the north and east. A couple of hitormiss sprinkles through framingham up county here. North and east. So were going to leave showers in the forecast beginning this morning with heavier rain coming from this developing area of low pressure as we head through the afternoon into the evening. So rain chances on the way up through the day today. Lingering early tomorrow morning for the cape and the islands. Otherwise then we dry out and we start to really cool down. Temperatures right now are in the 30s and 40s and even 50s on nantucket. So trying to work some milder air in. That will be the case through warming up into the low 50s to even mid 50s in spots.
