To aid the foster care institution and to help sustain the Lasallian community pantry, the Taft Initiative will be hosting Tahanan Benefit Concert on Saturday, July 31. “As the effects of the pandemic are still being felt by communities all across the country, people with the best intentions at heart continuously step up to the plate in order to address these problems,” the student-led organization said. “Whether it may be to provide food for starving families and those in need, to creating projects that serve as an avenue for raising awareness to the different social and political issues at present, the Filipino youth has always thrived in the service of others.” ....

Bernard S. Oca FSC announced. Meanwhile, faculty and staff of DLSU may also file an official business request for the same purpose. “Let us all register, vote, and actively participate in determining the future of our nation,” Oca added. UST? All Spanish established schools for insulares, peninsulares, and mestizos. You don’t need to be a doctor of anything to accept reality,” the action star wrote on his Facebook account, replying to a netizen who called him out for defending Sen. The La Salle guard confirmed his decision to forego his final UAAP season and put his name to the record list of applicants for the virtual draft proceedings. A record 97 players applied for the draft as many opted to capitalize on the cancellations of other leagues and the relaxed requirements for Fil-foreign cagers due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Melecio followed the lead of other UAAP cagers who submitted their names in the draft following the cancellation of the collegiate league’s cage season due to the pandemic. ....
