The city of Salina announced that the road closure at Arnold Avenue will be extended until Jan. 4, 2021.
Arnold will remain closed to through traffic just south of Schilling Road and to the west side of the Salina Regional Airport terminal western entrance.
According to a release by the Salina Department of Public Works, unforeseen circumstances and utility conflicts have slowed the work by Reece Construction as it replaces a reinforced box culvert at the intersection.
Passengers needing to reach the terminal will continue to have access via Arnold Avenue from Centennial Road.
