Submitted material The Salem High School Alumni Association will honor Larry Davis, SHS Class of 1969, as the 2021 Honored Alumnus during its SHSAA Scholarship Ceremony on May 22. Larry A. Davis, a 1969 graduate of Salem High School, has been selected by the Salem High School Alumni Association to receive its 2021 Honored Alumnus Award at the SHSAA Scholarship Award Ceremony on Saturday, May 22. He will be honored and then featured as a guest speaker along with last year’s 2020 Honored Alumnus, the Honorable Dean Hansell, a 1970 SHS graduate. The traditional SHS Alumni Association banquet has been canceled because of Covid-19 restrictions, but this special program to award the 2021 SHSAA scholarships to graduating seniors and to honor Hansell and Davis will be held in the Salem High School auditorium on that Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m.
