Prospects of Belarus-Romania interregional ties discussed
MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Romania Andrei Grinkevich visited Salaj County, Transylvania, Romania, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in Romania told BelTA.
The Simleu Silvaniei town administration had invited the diplomat to participate in an official ceremony timed to the anniversary of Romania s unification. Members of the Romanian government and top officials of the town hall were present during the ceremony. Andrei Grinkevich also participated in events timed to the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, including events organized by the Northern Transylvania Holocaust Victims Remembrance Museum.
