New Orleans brought aboard another talented free agent with ties from their father, who once was a player for the franchise. A few weeks ago, Tulane s wide receiver Jalen McCleskey signed with the Saints. His father is former Saints defensive back J.J. McCleskey (1993-1996), a great special team performer.
Sunday after Saints rookie minicamp, defensive tackle Lorenzo Neal, Jr. inked a free-agent deal to join the team. He was the only invited undrafted rookie to try out and receive an offer from New Orleans.

The New Orleans Saints signed cornerback Keith Washington II to a reserve/future contract for the 2021 season. I contacted Washington s representative Will Harris at Icon Sports regarding Keith s return to the Saints for another season.

Harris responded, Keith is incredibly excited to return to the New Orleans Saints next year. It was always his preferred destination to play in 21. He s looking forward to getting started on his offseason work so that he ll be in the best position to contribute in a meaningful way next season.
