SPRINGFIELD The owners of the former All Saints Church in the Forest Park neighborhood area are hoping its newly approved designation as a single-building historic district enhances plans for a major restoration project.
The Drama Studio, which owns and occupies the church property at 41 Oakland St., said approval of the All Saints Church Historic District by the City Council on Monday will help in its efforts to raise private and public funds for renovations. ....
