La Salle Bacolod goes on 7-day health break

"The health break is a preventive measure to avoid numbers of Covid-19 cases from getting higher, which eventually might affect our operations," the advisory from the Office of the President and Chancellor headed by Br. Joaquin Severino Martinez said. The University is one of the biggest in the city and is the leading Catholic institution in the Province of Negros Occidental. The week-long respite, which will run until February 1, is also a consideration for the mental health of the university's partners (staff) who may be sick or who are caring for household members while providing educational services at the same time, the advisory said.
