By: Times News Service Muscat: On the 26th of April, the Sultanate will participate in global celebrations for the World Intellectual Property Day (IP), with the slogan ‘IP and SME: Taking your Ideas to Market’, the Ministry of Commerce , Industry and Investment Promotion ( MoCIIP) announced on Saturday. The next day on 27th April, the Ministry, in collaboration with other ministries, the Sultan Qaboos University and other authorities, will organise a webinar to mark the event. The webinar will highlight ways to support innovative projects and how to take them to the market, in addition to discussing the role intellectual property plays in supporting the small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as the role World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in marketing innovative ideas.
