Dr. Ramesh Pathak passes awayNoted Assamese linguist and former Cotton College professor Dr. Ramesh Pathak is no more.
The professor has passed away today after a brief illness. His death is mourned by many. Born in Tihu, Nalbari Dr. Pathak has made tremendous contribution in the field of the Assamese linguistic by penning a number of books.
A few years ago, he was bestowed with the Sahityacharrya Award by the Asam Sahitya Sabha.
