According to the PTI report, Kumar’s elderly mother could not bear the loss of her son and died at home in Abhairam Chakla Panchayat of Janakinagar police station area of Kishanganj district. Both Kumar and his mother were cremated on Sunday in their village in Purnia district. The daughter of the slain SHO has described her father’s murder as a “conspiracy” and demanded a probe from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the case. “This is a conspiracy and I demand a CBI inquiry. He left my father alone despite having guns. Not only Circle Inspector Manish Kumar, but all those who have escaped should be punished. My grandmother also died of shock after my father’s death, ”ANI quoted ....
