Ngày 25-7, ông Trần Việt Trường - Chủ tịch UBND TP Cần Thơ - cho biết đã ký tặng bằng khen cho em Đặng Lê Minh Khang (học sinh lớp 12A5, Trường THPT chuyên Lý Tự Trọng) vì đã có thành tích xuất sắc đoạt Huy chương Vàng cuộc thi Olympic Sinh học quốc tế năm 2021. Ngoài khen thưởng theo quy định, UBND TP còn thưởng nóng cho em Khang 50 triệu đồng.
