RailTel Corporation of India rose 1.72% to Rs 144.85 after the company received a five-year deal worth Rs 23.43 crore from Sagar Cable Network for providing multicast drop and carry with 1.5G capacity at 66 locations. RailTel Corporation of India s consolidated net profit jumped 19.4% to Rs 27.21 crore on 9.5% increase in net sales to Rs 429.82 crore in Q4 March 2021 over Q4 March 2020. RailTel, a Mini Ratna (Category-I) Central Public Sector Enterprise is an information and communications technology (ICT) provider and one of the largest neutral telecom infrastructure providers in the country owning a pan-India optic fiber network on exclusive Right of Way (ROW) along Railway track. The Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) network covers important towns & cities of the country and several rural areas. As of 31 March 2021, the Government of India held 72.84% stake in the company. ....
HDFC, Hindustan Oil Exploration: Housing finance major HDFC said it has divested 2.46 per cent of its stake in Hindustan Oil Exploration Company (HOECL) for Rs 37 crore. HDFC held 1,48,26,303 equity shares of HOECL. Mahindra & Mahindra: The homegrown automajor announced a restructuring of its farm equipment business in Turkey under which its arm, Erkunt Traktor Sanayi A.S. (Erkunt) will acquire the agriculture machinery business from another subsidiary, Hisarlar Makina Sanayi ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi (Hisarlar). PNB Housing Finance: The housing finance firm said its promoter Punjab National Bank has asked it to consider restructuring the proposed Rs 4,000 crore capital infusion deal led by US-based Carlyle group. The housing financier also said it will await the Securities Appellate Tribunal s order on the issue before taking a final decision. ....

Software services heavyweight Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) will announce Q1 result today, 8 July 2021. REC has priced US$ 400,000,000, 2.75% Reg. S Notes due 2027 on 6th July, 2021 under its USD 7 Billion Global Medium Term Note Programme (the Notes ). The Notes will mature on 13th January, 2027 and all principal and interest payments will be made in U.S. Dollars. The settlement date for the Notes is expected to be 13th July, 2021.
