Council leaves payroll ordinance dangling for 2021 Tuesday, December 22, 2020 11:36 PM City emblem DELPHOS Council left one piece of legislation on the table Monday evening the non-union payroll ordinance considering raises for salary and hourly administrative positions as well as volunteer firefighters and rescue personnel. The measure had been tabled at the Dec. 7 meeting along with the 2021 Temporary Budget ordinance for further discussion and review. Councilman Josh Bayliff said he would like to see more information on how the pandemic affected the city’s income tax collections and other accounts before deciding on the raises.
