The US is committed to help diversify and expand economic opportunities for the people of Kazakhstan, the US Department of State told Trend.
Commenting on the policy of new government of US in regards to the development of relations with Kazakhstan, the Dept official noted that the US is committed to supporting Kazakhstan s independence, sovereignty. We are committed to fostering increased bilateral trade and investment in order to help diversify and expand economic opportunities for the people of Kazakhstan and the United States, the official said.
The official added that the bilateral relationship of the US with Kazakhstan is based on enhanced strategic partnership, which is strong, stable, and enduring.

Kazakhstan has seen positive results from joint actions to cut oil production within the framework of OPEC+ to date, a source in the Ministry of Energy told Trend on Jan.13.
According to the source, over the past two years, activities have been carried out to attract investments in the country s renewable energy sector.
So, the ministry, together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), signed a number of agreements and memorandums worth about $375 million on the construction of renewable energy facilities with a total capacity of 512 MW (the total cost of projects is $732 million with institutions and banks).

Azerbaijan s vaccination national policy is based on WHO recommendations, Hande Harmanci, Head of the WHO Office in Azerbaijan, said, Trend reports.
Harmanci made the statement during the Geopolitics of COVID-19 pandemic and vaccination online-webinar.
She noted that it is a huge challenge to every country to try to pick through the various types of vaccines available at the moment. However in a way we are very lucky to have the variety of the vaccines available at hand. I think Azerbaijani government is doing its best to give its population the best opportunities to receive vaccination, she said.

The Aardvark Group is taking part in the mine clearance in territories of Azerbaijan that it liberated from the Armenian occupation during the Second Karabakh war, Trend reports citing the group s statement.
The group said that in December 2020, preparations were made for the construction of a new international airport, replacement highway and other key infrastructure in Azerbaijan s Fuzuli district. Following decades of conflict, the region is heavily contaminated with explosive remnants of war, requiring the services of a humanitarian de-mining company to clear the area prior to any civil engineering operations, the company said.
