William N. âBillâ Jennewein, 75, of Yankton, South Dakota, passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton from complications of COVID-19 virus.
A private family Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Yankton with the Rev. Fr. Larry Regynski as celebrant. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery with military honors accorded by Ernest Bowyer VFW Post 791 Honor Guard and SDARNG Honor Guard.

Bill was born April 19, 1945, in Olympia Washington to William P. and Evelyn (Bruning) Jennewein, both of Breda, Iowa. After a series of unavoidable delays, Espanolaâs long-awaited new educational and childcare building will be open for occupancy in the spring of 2021.
The new joint facility located at 301 Church St. will house Ãcole catholique La Renaissance, Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School, and Our Children, Our Future Daycare / Garderie Nos Enfants, Notre Avenir.
