SOUTH HIRAM – Ronald G. Oberg, 84, passed away on Feb. 22, 2021. He was born in Bridgton, Maine, on April 18, 1936, and attended the University of Maine -Orono where he obtained a master’s degree in teaching. Ron achieved the rank of Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. He taught mathematics at Sacopee Valley High School for many years.
Ron married the love of his life, Marilyn, in 1975, who preceded him in death. He loved his home, garden and especially playing golf with his friends. One of Ron and Marilyn’s favorite pastimes was to take a Sunday drive, often ending up with ice cream.
