While dismissing anticipatory bail applications of Babar and his party worker Gorakhnath Ingale, the HC bench of Justice Sadhana Jadhav observed, “The act of the corporator would encourage goons in obstructing public servants from carrying out their duty by terrorising them and also taking the law into their hands. He has not acted as a responsible public representative. Grant of pre-arrest bail to the applicant would amount to showing leniency in such unruly behavior. Such acts of corporators lower the morale of the public office.” ....
