Pierre, SD, USA / DRGNews Jun 29, 2021 | 10:08 PM MINOT, ND – An early lead for the Pierre Trappers was erased by 11 runs in a four-inning stretch Tuesday as the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs ran past Pierre 11-6 at Corbett Park. Justin Cooper hit a three-run home run and Beau Brewer had a two-run single for the Sabre Dogs, who tallied three runs in the fourth, two in the fifth, two in the sixth, and four in the seventh. Collin Adams hit a three-run homer, his third in the last five games for the Trappers (9-19), but Pierre lost for the 14th time in their last 17 games.  Starter and loser Fischer Rausch gave up five runs in four and two-thirds innings.
