San Antonio ISD voted to close more than a dozen schools, but one of the many questions that remain is what happens to the history behind some of these schools, specifically on the East Side.
The driving force behind the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum has been its mission “to collect, preserve and share the cultural heritage of African-Americans in the San Antonio region,” according to its website.
