Week, we talked about coming to the war in europe. I would like to talk about the american reaction to all of that. The great debate over american involvement in world war ii. This is the most important debate on Foreign Policy in all of American History. Public opinion probably more than any previous debate mattered here. In part because for the first time, there was a way of gauging Public Opinion. HadGallup Organization begun regularly polling American People. Leaders had a more direct sent sense of what people thought. You will see a lot of pulling data in fleshing out what it was that americans thought. I will focus a bit on Public Opinion and ....
