NCC organises career guidance workshop in Mokokchung

DIMAPUR The 25 Naga battalion of NCC conducted a career guidance workshop at Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School in Mokokchung on April 11. The event coincided with the fresh enrolment of NCC cadets for the training year 2023-24, an update stated. It stated that one hundred students from the 9th, 10th and 11th grades including NCC cadets attended the workshop. The senior principal of the school, S Lipokienla Imchen, who inaugurated the work shop, termed the event as a unique initiative by the NCC authorities to provide career guidance to the students even at the high school level. The senior principal was of the opinion that the event would enable the students to choose their career goals early in life and start working towards nurturing the same throughout their academic pursuit. “This will also help them in having a long-term, focused approach and avoid distractions,” she said.
