By Jason Taylor May 31, 2021 CLARKE COUNTY, Iowa - A third teenager is dead from a crash last Thursday when a pickup truck tried to cross tacks in front of a freight train in rural Clark County. Fifteen-year-old Rylon Cook of Osceola died over the weekend at a Des Moines hospital. Fourteen-year-old Brooklyn Eggers and 15-year-old Gavin Werner, both of Murray, were killed in the crash. The 16-year-old driver is still in a hospital with serious injuries. The crash happened Thursday around 4:30 p.m. near the intersection of Kendall Street and 160th Avenue, east of Murray. Iowa State Patrol spokesman Sgt. Alex Dinkla said Saturday that Rylon Cook, 15, of Osceola had died from his injuries. Authorities had previously said that Brooklynn Eggers, 14, and Gavin Werner, 15, who were both from Murray, Iowa, had died at the scene of the crash in rural south-central Iowa. Dinkla said the 16-year-old driver of the pickup truck remained hospitalized in serious condition. ....
