I also wanted to say that many of the food justice and access leaders that i have had the honor of working with helped me understand that food access and the struggle for healthy food in neighborhoods is a civil rights issue for many of the lowest income neighborhoods and on a city wide level as well, so this legislation sets up a Pilot Program that is city wide that draws from the amazing work from the bay view and the tenderloin neighborhoods and other neighborhoods as well.
