The bbc witnessed migrants on several beaches trying to get onto boats to cross the english channel. These are some of the pictures from another attempt just after dawn. The Uk Border Force has brought around 70 migrants, inluding young children, ashore. Of thought there could be around of thought there could be around 300 people. 0ur correspondent Andrew Harding was on the beach where a boat ran aground and left five people dead. Lets take a look at what he witnessed as that ill fated crossing began. Theres a real battle going on on the beach here. Must be more than 100 migrants trying to get to the water. Theyre letting off firecrackers to try and keep the police away from them, but the police are moving in. Theyre trying to stop them from getting to the water. Lets go ahead and see what we can see.
