chuck shumer, and what he talked about last night in kentucky. we do know that in off year election, it s often a referendum on the president. but our mistake i think, you cannot just run against donald trump. it is the job of we democrats to put together a strong cohesive economic group of proposals aimed at the middle class and those struggling to get there. dana: mark, some democratic pollsteres are starting to sound the alarm. president trump s trump s approval ratings are improving. chuck shumer went on to, we can see it there, up to 44% which is pretty much where president obama was for a lot of the last four years of his presidency. chuck shumer also said he wants democrats to focus on issues like affordable college, rural broad band and child care. is that gonna cut it? look, i couldn t agree with senator schumer more. i think democrats win on their issues, issues that matter to real people.
