Can you tell us about the situation, is there any new update, can you recap what we know? sure at 8:30 we received a call of major accident where a land rover disregarded bus stop across the street from homeless shelter. the homeless shelter is being used to shelter immigrants coming into our country. right now as far as we know, when the officers got here to the location, there were 7 confirmed dead and some 4 to 6 people transported for the hospital from minor to major injuries. the driver was detained at the scene. several witnesses detained the driver. it s unknown whether he tried to leave or still at the scene. officers arrested him and we charged with the most minimal charge which is reckless charges but that s enough to detain him. we are also at the hospital with him and running toxicology report on him to make sure that alcohol was not a fact. if it is a factor, more charges will come. as far as we know, our detectives are working the scene and more than likely more charges ....
