Yesterday and its bureau closed. al jazeera says it s another attempt to shut down open reporting. and the violence is hurt one of the country s biggest industries, tourism. u.s. travelers have been canceling trips there. delta and egypt air, just a few of the airlines suspending flights. one travel agent who specializes in the middle east predicts 80% of trips booked to that region will be canceled. and there s growing concern among israeli leaders that they could lose egypt as a critical ally. prime minister benjamin netanyahu has ordered his officials not to comment publicly on the protests. only saying the peace treaty must continue between those two countries. egypt is one of just two middle east countries on peaceful terms with israel. meantime here at home, congressional leaders are standing behind the president, very carefully choosing their words about the situation in egypt. i think that president mubarak, he knows what s going on in his own country. it s up to the un ....
