NARATHIWAT: A combined patrol of administrative officials and police arrested seven Vietnamese nationals two men and five women after they illegally crossed the Thai-Malaysian border into Thailand in Sungai Kolok district on Monday night.
The seven were arrested at 11pm after they crossed the Sungai Kolok river from Malaysia s Kelantan State to Kwa Ro Sila village in tambon Pasemat by boat, Sungai Kolok district chief Rungruang Thimabut said on Tuesday.

NARATHIWAT: Seven Vietnamese nationals two men and five women were arrested after illegally crossing the Thai-Malaysian border into Thailand in Sungai Kolok district on Monday night, authorities said yesterday.
They were caught at 11pm after crossing the Sungai Kolok River from Malaysia s Kelantan State to Kwa Ro Sila in tambon Pasemat by boat, Sungai Kolok district chief Rungruang Thimabut said.
During questioning it emerged that the two men had worked illegally at a factory in Malaysia. The five women also entered Malaysia illegally and drifted from place to place seeking employment.

NARATHIWAT – A Malaysian man who had long been separated from his wife and children was caught while attempting to sneak into Narathiwat using a boat.
Sungai Kolok district head, Rungruang Thimabut said the 53-year-old Kelantanese was nabbed at about 2 pm (local time) today following a report lodged by locals about a man trying to sneak into Kpg Thasai in Sungai Kolok.

He said the suspect was found trying to enter southern Thailand without a valid document by a boat as the Thailand-Malaysia border gates are closed to contain the spread of COVID-19.
