Four men were charged over the alleged violent assault of Wynnum s Josh Jones at an Under-13 game between Wynnum Manly and Logan Brothers on May 9. The 35-year-old suffered two broken eye sockets, a fractured cheek and a broken nose. Brisbane father Josh Jones, who was left hospitalised after being allegedly assaulted at a junior rugby league game. While an independent QRL panel continues its investigations into the matter, a meeting to help support the clubs and their junior members will be held at QRL Headquarters later today. ....

Mr Jones suffered serious injuries during the fight at an Under-13s Division 1 game between Wynnum Manly and Logan Brothers at Kitchener Park in Wynnum on Sunday. The footage shows a fight between rival fans spill from the grandstands onto the playing field. The fight involves up to 20 adults with some children coming close to the violence.
