It was learnt that many drivers and helpers of Volvo buses who are operating between Kasol, Himachal Pradesh and Delhi are involved in the illicit supply of Charas. Consequently, Call Detail Records (CDR) of various suspected phone numbers were obtained and scrutinized. After analysing the CDRs and other related data of the suspected phone numbers, the mobile numbers used by drivers & suppliers were segregated, officials said.
Delhi Police busted an international drugs syndicate and arrested three key members, including a Nigerian national, the kingpin of the gang. The arrest also led to the recovery of drugs, which is estimated to be valued at Rs 6 crore on the international market.
