THE state government is collaborating with 20 government agencies and government-linked companies for youth development initiatives.
Johor tourism, youth and sports committee chairman Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said over 100 initiatives were expected to be rolled out by this month.
“The state recently organised a video conference with relevant agencies where they shared their initiatives and programmes with Johor youth.
“Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad had announced RM50mil for youth initiatives which is by far the biggest ever allocation, ” he said when
contacted.Onn Hafiz said there were plans to build a Tunku Mahkota Ismail Youth Centre in each district.
“The facilities will include meeting points, indoor and outdoor sports, wall-climbing, parkour space, jogging track, amphitheatre and many others.
