With 33,162 sales in March, TVS is leading the charts. But, bearing in mind that this number is the sum of not one, not two but three bikes’ (the Apache RTR 160, 160 4V, 180 and 200 4V) sales, it becomes slightly less significant. In close contention for the top spot is the Royal Enfield Classic 350, which single-handedly managed 31,694 sales. Next in line is the Bajaj Pulsar 150. With almost 30,000 sales, it is the highest selling motorcycle in its segment even though it feels dated, thanks to its dull feature list. Another 150cc bike featuring here is the Yamaha FZ S V3 which managed to clock sales of 16,653 units. This might not be close to the Pulsar’s number but the FZ S is the only Japanese bike here taking the fight to the Indian manufacturers. ....
