Full fleet of eligible public transport drivers in Dubai have received the vaccine doses.
The entire fleet of eligible taxi and public transport drivers in Dubai has received the Covid-19 vaccine, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced.
Over 20,000 drivers have received the vaccine.

The vaccination drive is now targeting frontliners and employees of various agencies and sectors of the RTA.
“The RTA kicked off the campaign by alerting employees and encouraging them to take the vaccine shots provided at specialist health centres, said Nada Jasim, Director of Safety, Risk, Regulation and Planning, Strategy and Corporate Governance Sector, RTA.

Dusty weather conditions are affecting visibility in several parts of the country. Fresh winds are kicking up sands and suspended dust, according to the National Centre for Meteorology (NCM).
The NCM and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority are among the entities that issued a dusty weather alert on Saturday, January 23.
