There are several contests on the ballot to be decided on the Monday, May 10 election, many with names familiar in town for years or even generations - but also some relative newcomers. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Lancaster Town Hall (not the municipal office building). Contested races include a three-year seat on the Board of Selectmen, two, three-year seats on the Finance Committee, and a two-year seat on the Planning Board, with the five-year seat on the Planning Board subject to a write-in campaign.
