Its wednesday, june 3rd, 5 00 here in new york, and the breaking news this morning. Were waking up to what seems to be a different situation in most cities around the country, much calmer. We saw thousands protesting peacefully, some in defiance of curfews. There were hundreds of arrests, and we did see isolated pockets of looting, but the scale much less than we have seen. There was also some vivid imagery. In denver, protesters silent for nine minutes, marking the time george floyd was held under the knee of a White Minneapolis Police officer.
