Generous retailer replenishes destroyed PPE for local fire department

Following a recent string of four targeted arson attacks on ambulance companies in Connecticut, Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) has donated $11,900 of critical personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Roxbury Fire Department, which had its entire stockpile of PPE destroyed in the attack. The donation, which includes KN95 masks, medical masks, hand sanitizer, protective gowns, face shields and more, replaces all of the lost PPE and adds new items to the supply.
OSJL organized the donation within 24-hours of the attack after it was brought to the attention of its philanthropic leadership by Rich Stomski, the Store Team Leader in Seymour. Stomski, a resident of Torrington, saw the news of the attack on social media and knew that the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation (OSJLCF) had the resources to provide the needed supplies in a timely manner. ....
