Our CorrespondentKohima, July 24 (EMN): The office building of Kiruphema Youth Organisation (KYO) was formally inaugurated by the Commissioner Nagaland, Rovilato Mor, in Peducha on July 23. Speaking at the inaugural programme, Mor stated that KYO office building is located in one of the best and centrally located areas between the commercial hub of Nagaland and state capital. Stating that construction of the building might have been planned years back, he acknowledged the KYO pioneers and the incumbent officials for making the building a reality. Describing youth as “defenders of communities,” who act as role models in every activity, Mor urged upon the youth to conduct more activities for youngsters in the form of various competitions so that they gain confidence and to hold consultations with the seniors and elders. Dimapur, July 8 (EMN): Nagaland commissioner, Rovilato Mor, inaugurated the new office of the Alumni Association of Kohima College (AAKC) on July 8. Speaking on the occasion, Mor expressed hope that the newly inaugurated office would be utilised for the benefit of the college and its alumni beside fostering a good relationship among the stakeholders of the college. An alumnus of the college himself, Mor spoke about how the college had produced countless graduates, bureaucrats, politicians, business persons, social workers since its inception in 1967, an update from the college stated.
