DARTMOUTH  When Augie got a new home, he didn’t know he would be on his way back to school, too. 
Augie is a male, 18-month-old Cockapoo a cross between a cocker spaniel and a poodle and was adopted last spring by Richard Gill, assistant principal at Dartmouth High School. 
Right away Gill knew that Augie had the personality to become a therapy dog.  
Having a therapy dog in public schools, was something Gill and Principal Ross Thibeault had talked about some time ago before they began working in the Dartmouth school system.
The concept came up again as the coronavirus pandemic picked up speed and started causing stress and anxiety for students forced to learn in a non-classroom setting.  ....
