One of the longest-running radio hosts in Minnesota will call it a career this week.
Dave Lee s 32-year career at WCCO Radio News Talk 830 will end when he hosts the morning news on Friday. Lee announced in early January that he would be retiring from The Good Neighbor at the end of April.
Now that the time is near, he s being celebrated by the station with what it s calling Farewell Week.
Each day this week the station will surprise Lee with special guests. Lee said his longtime producer, Jimmy Erickson, won t even tell me who they are this week. ....

Brundidge, a popular Twin Cities media personality who hosts a Saturday morning show at News Talk 830 WCCO, said she wants the station to take the opportunity provided by the retirement of celebrated, long-serving morning show host Dave Lee to hire a person of color. ....

A week after announcing plans to retire from his position as president of the Minneapolis Police Federation, Minneapolis Police Department Lt. Bob Kroll was a guest on WCCO Radio Sunday morning.
Kroll was interviewed by Roshini Rajkumar, who acknowledged that she is friends with Kroll but the interview was fair, balanced and Kroll was not allowed to see questions before the interview took place.
Asked about speculation that he was in Washington, D.C. when President Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol, Kroll denied being there. ....
