(WALB) - There are half a dozen people qualified to run for Sylvesterâs next Ward 4 council representative. The six people are Rosco Byrd, Barrett Williams, Johnny Blake, Earnest Carter Jr., Randy Jackson and Justin Lucas. This list came directly from the city clerkâs office who said none of the six are city employees. On Monday night, city leaders talked discussed updating the cityâs charter, possibly next year, to ensure those who qualify actually live in the Ward theyâre looking to represent.
