Photo by: Nassau County Nassau County Executive Laura Curran held a pop-up COVID-19 vaccination event recently in Roosevelt at the Roosevelt Public Library. The vaccination day, in partnership with Northwell Health, aims to vaccinate 500 eligible members of the Roosevelt community as a part of the County’s ongoing effort to ensure an equitable distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine.
“Equitable access to the vaccine remains a priority and today’s Roosevelt pop-up is another way Nassau County is making sure every resident has their shot at getting the shot. As eligibility has opened to all residents 16 and older, it is more important than ever to continue to expand vaccine access and get doses of this lifesaving vaccine into arms.
