Lake City man facing drugs, weapons, resisting arrest charges following traffic stop

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – A traffic stop in Florence County led to a man allegedly leading police on a short chase before being charged with drugs, weapons, and resisting arrest counts.
According to information from the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Bobby Donielle McElveen, of Lake City, was charged Jan. 25 with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, and assault on a police officer while resisting arrest. ....
