Atlantic, ron brownsteen. what intrigues you the most from these races today? one of the central through-lines of the trump era has been widening separation, widening polarization. the red voter groups are getting more red, blue groups are getting more blue. and i think what we ll be looking for tonight is whether there is any deviation from that pattern. if that pattern holds, you would see despite some signs of strength for democrats, republicans holding on indy kentucky and mississippi, states with a large white population, large evangelical population, and if that pattern holds, you would see democrats continuing to build in the suburbs of virginia. i think that is what we are assuming, we will see more separation, both sides full speed ahead. if we don t, i think that we ....
