CLARENDON, Jamaica With nominations for the local government election officially closed as of 2:00 pm, Jamaica’s two major political parties nominated a total of six candidates in the constituency of Clarendon North Central. They are People's National Party (PNP) candidate for the Mocho division, Romaine Morrison, who was initially a Jamaica Labour Party (JLP) councillor for the area but switched sides after reportedly falling out with the Member of Parliament.
