It is of great importance that the Roma also register in large numbers and then get to the vaccination points – or that the vaccination points reach them. Fidesz MEP Calls for Joint Responsibility for Roma Communities on International Romani Day
Ruling Fidesz MEP Lívia Járóka marked International Romani Day on Thursday, and called for the bearing of joint responsibility for Roma communities hard hit by the coronavirus epidemic.
Járóka said in a statement that the suffering and hardships caused by the health and economic crises resulting from the pandemic had left their marks on 2020.
“On International Romani Day, we speak out also for our Roma friends in trouble and hardship because we know that there is hope and their tribulations will come to an end,” she added. ....
