The Cedars Christian School boys volleyball coach says the team played well at the A provincials in Duncan on the weekend, but ran into a hot Houston Christian team in the game for fifth and sixth. “The boys started making errors, and Houston played well. They started tipping on us instead of spiking into the blocks.” Cedars won the first game in the match 25-15, but then dropped the next two 25-21 and 15-8. During the three days of the tournament, the Eagles ended up playing all three of the teams which won provincial medals. In the first match of the pool portion, they beat Kelowna Christian 25-23, 25-22. KCS finished third. Later in the pool, they played Credo Christian (Langley) and lost 25-18, 25-19 to the eventual provincial champions. ....
