ZIMBABWE – In a rather tragic development, a four-year-old boy died on the spot after he was hit by a haulage truck.
Faceofmalawi  has established that Roland Chimunyuko who was coming from Sierra Village with his mother(name not supplied) was hit by a haulage truck after he bolted from his mother while they were waiting to cross the busy Harare-Chirundu highway in Nyamakate, Hurungwe District.
Officer commanding police in Kariba district Superintendent Saul Mhanqwa confirmed the tragic incident which happened at the 267 km peg along the Harare-Chirundu highway to The Herald.
On the day when the incident happened, whilst they were waiting to cross, Roland is alleged to have loosed himself from his mother’s grip and ran into the road. ....
