ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Three people were reported injured when a car bomb exploded in the Kurdish city of Afrin in the northern countryside of Syria’s Aleppo province.

“The explosion was caused by the detonation of an [improvised explosive] in a car in Al-Villat street in Afrin city, which injured three persons at least and caused material damage,” the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said. ....

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) - The Syria-based Rojava Information Center (RIC) on Sunday evening reported that Russian forces had pulled out from the main base in Ain Issa in northeast Syria, possibly in a bid to pressure the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) to make a deal with the Assad government.

Military sources in Ayn Issa have confirmed that the troops stationed at the main Russian military base in the city, located in the southeast, pulled back to Til Samen, 20 km south, leaving some troops only in the three shared bases north of the city. pic.twitter.com/eHpdG7uncx ....

Turkish-backed groups continue to shell Ain Issa despite Russian call for de-escalation

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Turkish-backed groups on Sunday continued to shell Syria s Ain Issa areas despite a call by Russia last week to cease its bombardments of the region. Two civilians were reportedly injured during the latest attacks.
The shelling targeted Hosan village, the M4 road, the Ain Issa countryside, and the Brigade 93 base, where Syrian government troops are stationed. One woman and a young man were injured. Some family homes also sustained material.
The local Syrian Kurdish Hawar News Agency (ANHA) reported that the victims, Latifa Al-Shaddad, 45, and Qusay Hassan, 23, were hospitalized. Their condition is unclear. ....
