Amber Alert: Warrant issued for 2nd suspect in Corpus Christi kidnapping

Arrest warrants were issued for two men in connection with the kidnapping Tuesday of an 18-year-old Corpus Christi mother and her daughter.
Police issued a warrant Wednesday afternoon for Rodrick Garcia, 26, for kidnapping. A warrant for kidnapping also was issued earlier in the day for Kristian Garcia, who also faces murder and robbery charges that stem from a killing last month.
A massive search Wednesday turned up no sign of the men, but Corpus Christi police recovered a white Cadillac SUV believed to be connected to the kidnappings Tuesday ofJezabel Zamora and her 1 year-old daughter, Zaylee.
Authorities would not disclose its exact location as the search for the suspect intensified through the afternoon. ....

CCPD releases information on accomplice to kidnapping

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas Corpus Christi police and the FBI are continuously searching for Jezabel, 18, and Zaylee Zamora, 1. Police said they were kidnapped Tuesday night by Kristian Garcia, 24.

Wednesday, investigators announced they have issued a warrant for an accomplice in the alleged kidnapping.
26-year-old Rodrick Garcia is described as a white male, who stands 5’08”, weighs approximately 165 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Both pictures of Rodrick are from 2020, and he may or may not currently have facial hair, police said.

Officials originally reported that Kristian Garcia got away in an Escalade. Police confirmed today that Escalade was found in Corpus Christi with no sign of the missing mother or child. ....
